Scout Fellowship
Dorset Target Shooting Scout Fellowship is a countywide Scout Fellowship whose primary objective is to act as an interface between the Scouting and Target Shooting communities to facilitate an accessible quality target shooting activity for Scout Association members.
The primary objective of DTSSF may be achieved by ~
- Recruitment of adults with appropriate skills into Scouting.
- Promotion of NSRA training to adults in Scouting.
- Provision of an advisory service to Districts, Groups & individuals
- Support to Districts & Groups to facilitate the running of courses, including YPS.
- Support to campsites / HQ’s that have, or wish to build, target shooting ranges.
- Support by the provision of equipment.
- Fund raising to support the activity and the provision of equipment.
- Organisation of County level championships.
- Organisation of County level representative team.
